About us :: University of Nottingham Jazz Society

We love jazz and want make it easier to enjoy it. Here's what we do:

- We keep our members updated on all events taking place in Nottingham
- We negotiate discounts on tickets or subsidize them
- We cooperate with venues playing jazz so that our members can buy cheaper drinks
- We try to organise transport to the venue and back so as to minimise the costs
- We have regular socials that give you a chance to meet other jazz-lovers, win prizes in a quiz and listen to live jazz.
- This year Jazz Society will also be buying some jazz magazines and CDs and making them available via the CD and Records Library and the Hallward Library.
- What's more, we're expanding and have ambitious plans for the coming year- whether it will be a trip to a jazz festival or organising a concert on our own, it will definitely be something worth being part of!
